Creative Pathways Lab

Project Overview

Creative Pathways Lab is a community-based creative development program designed to support disadvantaged young people (ages 15–25) who are curious about careers in the creative industries but lack access, guidance, or resources. The project creates a safe, inclusive environment where participants can explore creative disciplines, build confidence, and develop practical skills while connecting with mentors and real-world opportunities.

The program emphasizes exploration over pressure, allowing young people to discover their strengths and interests without needing prior experience.

Objectives

To increase access to creative education for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds

To support self-expression, confidence, and personal identity through creative practice

To provide hands-on exposure to creative industries and career pathways

To build transferable skills such as communication, collaboration, and problem-solving
